The DWP will potentially pay for your coaching sessions, equipment and software to help you do your job for up to 3 years.
Very few people with neurodivergent conditions apply for this grant. Given the cost of mental health support and the struggle many unusually wired people have finding and thriving in a job, it makes sense to apply as soon as possible.
The Access to Work application can be bureaucratic and genuinely overwhelming
The application contains jargon and specialist terms. For people with ADHD, autism or executive function challenges, the whole process can be overwhelming and stressful.
Having someone there who knows the ropes can ultimately save you money – and your sanity.
We can help with access to work claims, ensuring that you get the support you are entitled to.
Are you eligible?
You are in work, about to start, or starting your own business
You have a long-term condition that makes your job harder
No formal diagnosis or certificate required
ADHD, autism, NVLD, dyspraxia and other cognitive differences all qualify
Access to Work approval timeline
If awarded, the grant covers costs from the date you applied – not the date of approval. That means the sooner you apply, the more you are covered for.
How We Help
We know the ropes. We’ll get you what you’re entitled to.
1
Applying for the grant
We help you complete the Access to Work application and ensure your form is worded in a way that accurately reflects your needs and maximises your entitlement. How much you receive depends on how you word your application. We make sure you get the support you are entitled to.
2
Claiming coaching costs directly
If you go on to have neurodiversity coaching with us, we can claim the cost of the sessions directly from Access to Work – so you don’t have to pay and then claim it back.
3
Reasonable adjustments at work
Our coaches can also advise on how to claim for reasonable adjustments at work. Many people don’t realise that employers have a legal obligation to provide reasonable adjustments to your job to account for any disabilities you have. This can also help business owners improve their productivity and efficiency by maximising the strengths of their neurodivergent staff.
How much does it cost?
£50 + VAT per 30 mins
To help you complete the Access to Work forms and advise on how to get reasonable adjustments from your employer.
Up to £100 of whatever you spend on this can be set against the cost of coaching sessions with us.
